Freaky Friday

After waking up to go to electrical class, only to find out that it was canceled, I decided to spend the day in the room catching up on some things. Around 10 am an officer came looking for me to tell me that I was about to be sent on a medical trip for a mammogram. I was a little confused because I just had one in December. I then headed to medical to find out what was going on. The nurse informed me that the appointment was a follow-up because there was an area of concern they wanted to take a closer look at. Hearing this caused me great concern. I tried to stay positive and not stress about it. Although it felt nice to leave the campus, this is not quite the way I wanted to do it. My mind was all over the place. All I could think about was being sick in prison. This is definitely NOT the place to be sick. Luckily, after about two hours my mind was placed at ease. The radiologist delivered good news and I headed back to the compound.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with the additional news that there was a flood on my floor. Luckily, several friends took everything off my floor so it did not get wet. Apparently, in an effort to hang a picture board, my neighbors drilled a hole a little too deep into the wall, and boom, a pipe exploded flooding their room. My room was a little wet, but not to the extent of my neighbors.

After working out, bathing, and hanging with a friend, around 8:15 pm we heard the guards yelling for us to clear our floor. Another shakedown was underway. I have no idea what they are looking for but my guess is that damn cell phone. At this point, it is getting to be a nuisance and a huge inconvenience. I doubt very seriously that the phone is even here anymore, and if it is the owner of it is an idiot.
