The Cat’s Out the Bag: I’m on BET+ Trap Queens Season 4! 🎬✨
Well… the cat’s officially out of the bag.
I am beyond excited (and still a little in shock) to finally share that I’ll be featured in Season 4 of BET+’s American Gangster: Trap Queens—premiering July 10th!
This moment is more than just a media appearance. It’s a manifestation. Let me take you back to the moment the seed was planted…
It was a prison visitation room. Nothing glamorous—just a table, a bathroom nearby, and the hope we carried between us. My friend had come to visit me while I was serving time in federal prison. We didn’t have much, but we had vision.
We borrowed a pen from one of the guards and grabbed a paper towel from the bathroom. That was our canvas. On that ragged little paper towel, we wrote out a vision. We dreamed, we laughed, we cried, and we dared to write down:
“Trap Queens.”
At the time, it felt impossible. A million miles away. But here I am—two years later—featured on the very show we wrote down in that visitation room. This isn’t just a TV show for me. This is proof. Proof that you can speak life into your future even while you’re sitting in the middle of your darkest chapter.
For so long, people have asked me to tell the whole story. And I always held back. Now you’ll understand why. I was waiting for the right time. This is it.
This episode isn’t just about what I did—it’s about who I became. It’s about resilience, redemption, and rewriting your own narrative. It’s for every woman who ever wondered if it’s too late to begin again. For every person who feels stuck, ashamed, or unseen. For the dreamers with nothing but a pen and a paper towel.
This is my story—from beginning to end. Raw, real, and finally out loud.
