Heartbreaking News

I did not expect the news that I received today. My mother informed me that my stepfather is being released from the hospital to go home with hospice care and the doctors gave him about four months to live. I am devastated. My worse nightmares are happening. I can't believe this. I just pray that they are wrong and I get to make it back home. I don't want him to suffer or be in pain, but I can't help but to be selfish because I would love to see him one last time.
