A Kween Will Always Rise

Last night, my bunkie attempted to keep me from seeing some strange activity outside of our room door. At first, I didn't know exactly what was going on. She then asked me to step outside of the room where I got to see my goodbye poster with the words ‘A Kween Will Always Rise’ accompanied by a drawing of a beautiful, majestic phoenix. I was blown away. The goodbye poster is placed outside of one’s door a few days before the departure for everyone to sign and give their well wishes. My bunkie nailed the theme of the phoenix as well as the quote. What made it even cooler is that she spelled Queen with a K instead of Q, meaning the Queen is even "bigger" than a King and submits or gets under no one. Think Woman King or King Bey. So dope. So me. She nailed it.
