Locked In…They Won’t Let Us Out

Day two of not being able to go outside, meaning not being able to do step aerobics. The air quality is poor because of the Canadian wildfires, therefore we have been ordered to stay inside. This has caused me to have some issues with my sinuses too.

I am so off of my schedule right now. Usually, I am outside working out, walking, journaling or just sitting. Since I am in the room more often I am finding myself "bored eating." I think the anticipation of leaving soon is getting to me, but I am also excited because I get to see my mother tomorrow! Yeah! Although I am right here at the end of my time she still insisted on coming to KY to see her Rosebud and I can't lie, I am excited to see her too.

The party planning has begun for my release, both on the inside and the outside. My friends here are asking me what I want to do. After a little thought I decided that I wanted to have prison slumber party. Considering that we really can't slumber in each other's rooms this include us hanging out later than normal and partaking a few of my favorite prison cuisines. On the outside, I have been asked what I would like to eat at my welcome home cookout. Of course I listed everything that could fit on a grill; everything I have missed eating the past year. And in true welcome home from prison fashion, I let them know I will be needing them to wear a corny t-shirt with my picture and #FreeSharita on it.

This #fedbae gotta have her moment. I did this! One year of prison and two years of investigations, indictments, sentencings, lawyer fees, stress, anxiety, and anticipation of the unknown is coming to an end. As my mother used to say, "It won't be as long as it has been." Baby!!! I did the damn thing, and I am proud to say, I did it well! I made federal prison my bitch! Just like I said I would.
